Components

CPU	Z80®-CPU 2.4576MHz (19,6608MHz Quartz)
ROM	4KiB ROM, PROM or EPROM; Four (4) sockets @ 1KiB (e.g. 2708 or pin compatible) Positioned anywhere in the 64KiB address space on a 4K boundary.
RAM	Dynamic RAM, One 1 bank (8 sockets x 1); alternatively 4KiB (with 4Kibit x 1 DRAM chips) or 16KiB (with 16Kibit x 1 DRAM chips) Organized in 4KiB pages. Each page positioned anywhere in the 64KiB address space on a 4K boundary.
Timer	Z80®-CTC Channel 0 used for FLOPPY driver (3K ROM-Monitor only) to generate interrupts from the Z80-MDC board Channel 1 used as a baud rate generator for the USART Channel 3 used for debugger functions (3K ROM-Monitor only)
Serial I/O	USART 8251 Programmable from 50Baud to 38.400Baud Line driver for RS232 or 20mA current loop
Parallel I/O	Z80®-PIO without I/O drivers or terminators 20 lines (2 x (8 Data + Strobe + Ready)); wired to solder pads

Without ROM or PROM

Debugger, CON driver, FLOPPY driver for the Z80-MDC board

The Zilog MCB 3K MONITOR '78089N' is the PROM set for the PDS 1/01, MCZ 1/05, MCZ 1/20 and MCZ 1/30 Series Systems.

Preprogrammed PROM set consists of 3 pcs. 2708 EPROM
