Description
Brief Description The MCZ 1/05 consists of a tabletop unit with separate housing for floppy drive.
Designed as a low cost software development and debugging tool.
The first portable (though not battery operated) computer for software development on site. ;-)

Software
ROM 3K ROM Monitor
HW-Init, ROM-Monitor (ROM resident debugger), low-level driver for console and floppy, boot loader stage 1
Disks OS 2.1 (Predecessor of the RIO-OS, also known in literature as Z80-OS)
containes OS, Editor, Assembler, File-Utilities;
Low-Level disk format compatible to RIO; File system ZDOS-I (ZDOS one) is not compatible to RIO File system (ZDOS-II)
Disks can be read under RIO with the optional driver $ZDOSI.
With more than 32KiB RAM also RIO is executable. (MCZ compatible memory layout)
